• We have stayed on the golf course on 2 other occasions (in another rental home) and have had wonderful family experiences. This time the golf course retreat was a perfect match for our family. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck.

  The only problem we had was that 1 of the toilets stopped working the last night - - wouldn't flush / tank wouldn't fill and toilet bowl almost overflowed - I had to shut off the valve. Other wise a great place to gather - at the end of a busy day of playing at Payette Lake or golfing at one of the nearby courses.

  If the systems in the house had been tested before rental, it would have been great: fireplace took 4 days to get operating, working DVD had to be brought in--not working as advertised--dryer was broken, one heating until in back bedroom didn't work which froze out kids when it was -12 degrees. But, the setting on the golf course and near town makes it easily accessible and you can cross country ski right out the back door.

  This was a great place to stay with kids. Lots of space with the extra back room for them to play and sleep.

• Ben was very prompt xmas eve in making sure we had a space heater. The fireplace leaked a great amount of outside air but after we saranwrapped it the house stayed warm.

  Sitting on the back patio with veiws of the golf course was very relaxing. The house was very nice and 0pen. 3 complaints though. 1. didnt like not having a door for the master bath from the bedroom (like having privacy while using the toilet) 2. The toilet in the master bath ran constantly, had to shut off the water valve at night to sleep. 3. The pull out bed in the back bedroom (in the couch) was dirty and broken, had to sleep on the floor. Other than that we had a great time.

  The golf course retreat was perfect. 4 bedrooms and all had their own bathrooms - very nice! The only thing that was a little bit of a problem was the gas grill - it is not in the best of shape and hard to regulate the heat. Other than that it was perfect and in a great location!
